LET THEM WORK OUT THE BUGS FIRST. Unregistered - yea 12.02.2005 21:43 Can anyone say a CONFIRMED target that had the 360s today? ( friday). Please give the local so we can call and verify. I don't want to go out there saturday and waste my time :( scoedog 12.02.2005 23:31 I called the Targets in my area (Lee's Summit, Independence, State Line, Missouri) and they told me the won't get any shipments until the 4th week of December. Who knows anyway, best to wait until the first of the year although it really sucks to have to wait. Unregistered - Drew 12.03.2005 02:43 ok here's a place to read it, they have said that the second shipment from microsoft is already on its way, i figure they arent hitting every where at once, because they dont have enough...so if target has had a few go there first. this also has a quote from microsoft telling whats up. http://biz.gamedaily.com/features.asp?article_id=11209 your welcome Unregistered - iamanxbox360 12.03.2005 09:17 How is it that only 1 Target store has Xbox 360's and the rest don't. There arent any around in the Raleigh/Durham NC area until the end of the month. Microsoft should have released these CHEAP systems after Xmas so no one wouldve had one for Xmas. I canot wait till the PS3 comes out. It will have better games plus you can have more players at the same time. Halo 3 doesnt even come out till the end of next year! Microsoft has lost a customer. No wonder people like Apple comp's better the Windows based comp's. Because the SUCK! Unregistered - GgggggGunit!!!! 12.03.2005 09:21 I bet you anything that Sony is seeing everything that is happening with the 360. I bet that Sony will have more systems out to keep everone happy. Plus you know they are releasing them after the holiday so they wont keep everyones hopes up before a cherished holiday like you know who is doing. Microsoft! Unregistered - jonny 12.03.2005 09:43 went to the local target outside detroit and nothing. I think I've come to the realization that I'm not getting one till after the Japan launch. Thanks Microsoft for not giving us at least a heads up. I'm #7 on preorders and I still don't have one yet. And why can't they have at least gave the stores with preorders more. My store got five, and target at launch where I live got thirty something, what gives with that. Never preordering anything again of this nature. I've been a die hard xbox fan for a long time now, Microsoft is going to have to regain my trust now. As for the dude saying that target had some, I think we've been had. OUT PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unregistered - 360sancho 12.03.2005 15:00 im tired of gamestop everytime i call they gimme a diffrent freakin story last time i call i was 25 on the list i was on second shipment now she tells me im on third list i am getting ready to go get my money and say fuc gamestop and microsoft they can shove there 360 up there ass Unregistered - Chris PistRPGer 12.04.2005 16:55 OK, I pre-ordered back in July, and am #4 on the 2nd shipment list, out of only 10 people, yet my EBgames can't even give me a time-frame when to expect a 360. And I hear some people are just going in and buying them at retail stores, when I pre-ordered in the summer and can't get one...or a simple date when they come in? What's wrong with this picture? I have a feeling that Microsoft s going to lose many loyalists over this lousy launch. FULFILL PRE-ORDER DEMANDS FIRST! SCREW RETAILS STORES! Oh, no Targets in upstate New York have 'em in either, or are clueless as of a 2nd shipment date. Unregistered - Mytthor 12.04.2005 17:47 I know nobody wants to hear this, but outside of low numbers of systems released, the pre-order problems have nothing to do with microsoft. You people should be pissed at the retailers for taking pre-orders, not microsoft. Microsoft has no obligation to fill pre-orders, that's the retailers' business. Why would microsoft care who gets the systems? Unregistered - jonnyb 12.04.2005 23:22 You know this MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unregistered - ProMinx 12.05.2005 03:10 Comment 21 clearly has his head buried somewhere dark and warm. Obviously Microsoft not only has no obligation to fill pre-orders first, but they have no control over that either. All of the stores tried to snag as many X-Box 360s at launch that they could, whether those stores took pre-orders or not. Why should EB/GameSpot (same parent company) receive more X-Box 360s than Best Buy just because EB/GS took pre-orders, even though when Best Buy has done far more business in the original X-Box market, not to mention with other Microsoft products? Best Buy is a far better run company than EB/GS, and it just makes better business sense to reward marketing allies that have proven useful in the past. Unregistered - jonnybe5 12.05.2005 14:21 Yes my head is up something but rather cold and moldy. I'll give one guess, she conceived you. And yes they Do. When I pre ordered mine the Microsoft rep was in game rush. She told me and the store manager that game rush was guaranteed ten. Well turns out they only got five. Would you like to retract that statement? Oh and by the way if you make uncalled for smart assss remarks you get them back. Oh by the way never met the whore. Unregistered - Nick 12.05.2005 21:56 They lie. Plain and simple. Either by choice or by ignorance. Reasons why they lie: (Ignorance) The morning crew stocks it, and the people you end up talking to have no idea there were even Xboxes there. and the better reason (Choice) If they tell you there will be XBOX's in, you will call. You will keep calling. They will be inundated with calls. If they tell you they will never get an xbox 360 in, you will stop calling. I would have never known if not for a trip to target today. I visited at 10 am today, and asked a guy about the 360's... he told me they had some in on Sunday and to keep checking. They've been receiving small sporadic shipments since launch. I cam back in later in the day, and asked what time is the best time to check to see if they have any in stock. This sales guy told me they won't be getting ANY in until January. He was bluffing. I said I knew that they received a shipment in yesterday. He looked at the other sales person and told me straight out that they are instructed NOT to give out any information and to discourage people when they ask. He said the customer service counter (manageR) can actually check to see when the next shipment is coming and how many there will be... but they won't do it for me. Unregistered - Nick 12.05.2005 22:01 As far as pre-orders go... Shame on EB and other companies for taking pre-orders. They took too many. Plain and simple. Unregistered - Todd 12.05.2005 23:12 What target had them on Sunday, state and city please. Thanks Unregistered - Nick 12.06.2005 09:24 Medford, NY Add Comment |
