Tecmo has announced that Dead or Alive 4, the highly anticipated next installment in its hugely popular fighting series, will ship to major retailers nationwide today December 29, 2005. I will check this out Unregistered - Dlind 12.29.2005 10:19 I'm not a huge fan of this catagory ...but the guys on XBLive last night seemed pumped and primed about it...per disscussions in the lobbies. I expect this to be very lush and 3D like , the only thing wrong is there's no blood ? Your doing all this powerful fighing and not even a nose bleed, but I bet there plenty of leg and bussom shots. I will spend the 50.00 bucks , nothing like reward certs from Best Buy to ease the pain. 3 -

It's frustrating because they keep telling me that they never have any idea what they will or won't get. I wanted to get Call of Duty 2 at Wal-Mart as well, but they didn't have that one either. Help for #14Unregistered - Dlind 12.29.2005 20:22 The power supply and the unit itself do get warm...you need to have your 360 off the carpet and on a hard, flat surface also don't set it on top of TV or stereo equipment like I see some people do...they give off heat too and your then contributing to your problem. Elevate your power supply so that air can get around the "brick" , some people just throw it behind the TV ontop of the mound of wires and again your making matters worse...be creative , some have taken a shoe box and set the Brick on top catacorner (with the lid off) of course. 3rd...give the machine a break...you are probably playing 4-5 hour shifts on it which will stretch ANY system. If I play longer than 2 hrs...I have this $12.00 fan I bought from Bed Bath and Beyond and it works great..helps to keep it nice and cool. Hope this helps. 17 -

Just Got Mine!!!!Unregistered - spcdrew 12.30.2005 11:55 I was at Gamecrazy this morning as soon as they opened and picked my copy up! Since I didn't preorder mine, I called yesterday and they said they might have 1 or 2 extra copies so to get there early. Yeah right! So I played the demo while the guy called all the "preorder" people to see if they had any extra copies to sell. It took like 5 minutes b/c there were like only 3 or 4 preorders! They had about 20 copies there, what a bunch of crap! Anyway, I got it but I coulda slept in! O and I could tell that he was friends with atleast 2 of the calls he made so maybe he was trying to hold me off or detour people long enough so his friends could get theirs first. Just thinking maybe that's why some of you are being told later sale dates for the game. Good luck, the game is awesome! DOA4 RULES!!! 20 -

PAUL CERULA 12.31.2005 18:51 I have to let you guys know that if your one of the less than 10-15% of people who buy the overheating 360 don't worry about it. For I myself have one of those. Here's what happens... 1. Call up and get a box overnight the next day to ship out 2. You ship out and 360 comes back within 3-5 days more cool and heat resistant 3. Get a better 360 for a very small and short sacrifice Microsoft naturally jumped right on this problem and will probably start producing better heatsinking equipment if they aren't already. Basically the problem has been that the fans in the back are too slow so the noise would be at a minimal. I'll tell you what I was impressed, Sony's having the same problems and I look forward to the ps3 in september or Q4 2006. Spring launch is not going to happen. 33 -

Another thing you could check is if the holes in the console have all been punched through, as that is one of the very rare production errors that aren't that noticable during testing. 35 -

DOA spartan is not from books!!!!!!!!! + my opinion that there are other spartans in Halo.Unregistered - RCA 01.02.2006 00:35 I have carefully looked over all the posts and have come to the conclusion that all of you are lost. The spartan is a female. Her name is Nicole. She was constructed by Bungie to fit into the DOA4 universe. The female Spartans from the Book series are all pretty dead. I know, I read all the books. If you go to Bungie's site you can read their weird story on how the Spartan Nicole happens to be in the DOA4 universe. DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE NOT A HALO FAN AND/OR GEEK. THANK-YOU. P.s. For all those Halo fans out there... I have been lead to believe(by those dang books!!!) that there could actually be other spartans still alive to be in Halo 3. In the first book, Halo:The Fall of Reach, the Colonel and Capt. Keyes(or however you spell his name) came up with the plan to send most of the spartans to Reach to fight of the Covenant and sent the Master Chief and Lisa, to destroy data on a near-by space station. When Reach goes boom, all spartans are assumed dead. Lisa is badly injured, and the Cheif takes her off to the Pillar of Autum(The Big spaceship). So basically, Lisa (female) is basically dead, Kelly (also female and last female that they name I believe) is dead with the majority of the spartans on planet Reach. What you must notice is during the briefing before Reach is attacked, the Master Chief ( Spartan 117 AKA John) asks if the spartans stationed further away should be contacted. The colonel and the capt. say no. Also, in the last book, Halo:Fist Strike, the end of the book that was supposed to lead into Halo 2 ended with multiple spartans, including the Cheif, hidden in a covenant troop carrier towards Earth. MY question is, WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THESE SPARTANS!!!?? The two guys who wrote the books was closely tied to the Bugie staff in all aspects of the story line and content of those books. They must put more spartans in Halo 3 or at least some how address this issue. Now excuse me as I put this ground breaking information on Halo fan sites. And for those of you who dont care about story lines, or play halo but dont care about whats going on, then I thank you for reading this rather large piece. Thank-you. 44 -
