EA has just released new screenshots and new info about their Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat.With new maps taking you to Wake Island, the wilds of the Middle East and the snowy landscape of northern China, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat escalates the battles to a new level of excitement. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat also features all-new vehicles including snowmobiles and min-gun equipped vans that offer new ways to eliminate your enemies. The game delivers the Battlefield franchise’s trademark multiplayer action on Xbox Live, delivering ferocious 24 player online* battles. Fighting for one of 4 sides – the US, the European Union, the Chinese, or the newly formed Middle East Coalition - and armed with the latest modern weaponry, you are given full control over the 30+ vehicles in the game. I personally hate ea and their cheap multiformat, shallow, underdeveloped factory churned games so i may be a little biased. 3 -
?Motojass 01.12.2006 09:21 I have yet to see team based game like this get the team combat logistics down. How are the team organization options? Is it easy to play as a team? I'm asking because the last one I played was Joint Ops and they came close but no cigar. 4 -
JsonHenry 01.12.2006 09:32 I have to admit, these screens look better than what I see on my PC when I play this game, assuming they are not all pre-rendered. Of course, they have had over a year or so to make graphical upgrades, so I would hope that it would look better. Either way, this game is really not all that fun. They should have stopped after Battlefield Vietnam. 5 -

ONLINE PLAY WILL SURELY LAGWWWWWWWOWWWWWWW 01.13.2006 14:35 Based on prior experience everyone who's played BF2:MC had tremendous lag in its initial release. I hope the online play will be a lot better this time. I was also hoping for jets as well and more online player capacity. Room capacity of up to 60 in PC versions should be the standard now especially for the XBOX 360. After all the money we have spent to get a 360 and $60 per game, it has to be exceptionally better. It must live up to everyone's expectation if EA wants a bigger sales. I am assuming that I can expect to get my money's worth. Any word on release date? 15 -

The game will still have a horrible single-player mode, but for you Xbox Live owners will see the real magic online.
