I saw some non direct feed video of in-game gameplay and the game looks great(graphics anyway). On the video it had two mechs going after each other for like 4 minutes with neither getting destroyed, so I don't know of the game will be fun, but drawn out battles could be cool if the controls don't tire your hands. 4 -

Mr Murda 01.24.2006 16:57 I agree that the first few pics aren't all that impressive, but that last pic isn't happening on the original xbox. Look at the crispness of the lighting effects on the buildings and mech. That wasn't happening without three cores. 7 -

This game does not look anywhere near an xbox game in my opinion! As time goes on games will start looking better and better so if I were you guys I would try and forget last years e3 where Sony brainwashed everyone into thinking games could look that good this early in the game! I blame this all on Sony and the people that just didn't want the next-gen to start with MS! Some games will deliver and some games won't but we should at least wait for it's release and just be happy with love were getting from MS and developers alike! 12 -

If you truly believe it is better than 360 than why the need to flap your gums about a product that is virtually a prototype not a single one is a real PS3. I like 360 but there is no need for me to talk its better than PS3 all i am saying is this if and when the PS3 comes out and it can produce those pretty CGI style graphics for a full length game and not cut scene then i will gladly admit defeat, but i recall a while back the emotion engine was supposed to produce those graphics but did it not even close. So if this is your attempt to make yourself feel better about your choice in a gaming console then you got to do what you got to do. PS fans will buy PS3, xbox fans will buy 360 regardless how much you try to convince either this one is better than that one. Here's a thought grow up people have their own opinions, tastes, dislikes, likes, etc. If the world and everyone on it thought the same way what a boring piece of turd this world would be, look at the bigger picture we need sony, we need microsoft, we need nintendo why? Competition always brings out the best in these companies, no competition means cheaper and crappier products and games because you will have no other console to get only the one, therfore allowing that company to sell you a rust bucket if they choose and you will buy it or you won't play video games. Come on the way i see it is that as long as the game rocks the game really doesn't need the graphics. Like look at all the good school games some of them really rock like Metroid and Zelda. Right if you played them they were fun and hard but graphics really didn't matter. Nor does it matter today with those games. I still like them over some of the newer games because all they are is graphics. And yes i do agree that games need some level of graphics but not to the point were the game just sucks complete a$$. And you have to agree with that so yet again what would you rather have graphics or great game play. And both is not one of the answers even thought most of us would pick that but yes in a few years the game designers should be able to produce both of them so that is something to look foward to. 21 -
