Rockstar Games, the world-renowned publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc, is pleased to announce Table Tennis for Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Developed by Rockstar San Diego, the creative house behind the highly successful Midnight Club racing series, Table Tennis is expected to ship to North American retailers on May 22nd, 2006 for a MSRP of $39.99 and will hit European retail shelves on May 26th, 2006 for a price of €39.99 and £29.99 in the UK. "Our goal was to create a game that is perfectly addictive in its focused simplicity, a game that showcases the true possibilities of a next gen experience, not just in looks but in feel and pace," stated Sam Houser, Founder and Executive Producer of Rockstar Games. "We wanted to use the power of the new hardware and the resolution of new televisions to give the game an immediacy, an intensity and a sense of physicality and reality, resulting in a purer, more visceral experience that simply was not possible previously." Houser continued, "It is a distillation of game design philosophy, focusing on removing the traditional areas of compromise inherent in managing size and scope and concentrating the hardware's entire power on one activity, with the aim of doing that better than it's ever been done before." Those screens looked as good a FNR3 at least the first one did, If you don't think Rockstar can deliver, you aint been gaming long, and whoever told Rockstar to go to Sony Exclusively needs to be quiet, they might just get what they wish for. Looks funDusty 03.06.2006 13:09 I am a huge fan of Top Spin so I must say am looking forward to this title a lot. Games don’t have to be complex to be fun. I guess we all have different taste in games..and there is nothing wrong with that. I am getting this one for sure :) 10 -

Unregistered - william 03.07.2006 00:48 Yes lack of innovation and interesting games, lol but table tennis I mean please? the only thing funnier than reading that article trying to make the game sound all complex and sophisticated and cool was the comments, I was cracking up reading every single one. wow rockstar you suck lol, top spin was fun, but this is looking at an arm that becomes sweatier and sweatier hit a little ball across a 3 foot table, lol not a 65 foot court...I was hoping all the 360 games would be great, they so far I thought have all been good, but theirs always atleast a few stupid ones... 17 -

But i read that Rockstar is looking to come out with a new GTA maybe this christmas or by spring 07, but I read that not only does XBOX 360 get it at it's release but also it's going to be a GTA VICE CITY II : Tommy's Back! I'd love to see it. The best version of GTA by far is vice city and I think we'll get a great idea of how it will look and play by how well Saints Row is when it comes out. I'm gonna have to move back in with my parents. I cant keep working and playing all these fantastic games like this. The fact that we get it at it's release is awesome in it's self. Rockstar told sony no go on it only being a ps3 release. In fact there's a chance that ps3 wont get it at first release with the piss s 3 having it's woes. Isnt life great!!!!!! 20 -
