Microsoft's Xbox 360 saw a sales increase this week.The next-generation console sold 3,258 units this week, a sharp increase from previous weekly sales of around 1,000 units per week.The all-female wrestling game Rumble Roses XX may have provided the system with some renewed momentum at retail.

But I said this before, Microsoft better not ever forget that It was America and Europe who made the system work not Japan. It just goes to prove that this whole "Japan won't buy anything American" crap is wrong. If you release games that the Japanese like, they'll buy it. It's not that they don't realise that the power of the 360 is excellent, it's just that they don't see the point of playing with that power on a game they don't like. If Microsoft get the Re-launch right in June with games like Chromehounds, Oblivion, Ninety Nine Knights, throw in some RPG's plus Dead Rising, it will sell bucket loads, but until then, just expect some splurts here and there! They make sure they get it right though in July, because if they miss the boat again, Sony and Nintendo will punish them for it come November! 6 -

Even with over a 1000000 units a month its still not enough to satisfy the global demand. If they turn out 2mil a month that would ba fantastic and they can captalized on the competitors delays. Don't be judging others before taking a good look at yourself. That said, I don't believe hiring an additional plant to produce 360s would be cost efficient or effective at this point. There may still be unmet demand, but it is slowly and surely being met. More production would probably drown the mkt with supply at the moment, and numbers are still strong so no need to dilute that rate. I don't see how anybody who desperately wants one now isn't able to get one at the going price, so as long as MS keeps doing what they're doing the supply side doesn't need another boost at the moment. 13 -

Sh1t, they make anime porn for f@ck sakes. The 360 will never make it in Japan. Not because it's a bad system it's the best system I've ever owned. They dont like on line play, fps, rts..... For the most part Japanese developors are creating games great games, but there focus is international and not domestic. If the xbox 360 had a sony logo on it, it would have sold out in Japan.
