A new demo has just appeared on the Xbox Live Marketplace for FIFA 06 The World Cup. At 644mb it's not a huge demo even so it will still take a while to download.
The game itself has vastly improved from the unbearable FIFA-RTFWC and this latest installment in the FIFA series is probably closer to Pro Evo in terms of gameplay than any other FIFA game.

It sure convinced me...asdf 05.04.2006 11:25 ...not to buy it. Same old boring gameplay. Same old ridiculous physics. Guess I'll break down and get Winning Eleven 9 for Xbox, it's backward compatible. By the way, how many times does the U.S. have to beat Mexico to get a little respect? We may be no Brazil, but we're at least as good as Mexico. Really, we've won 6 of the last 9 against them, seems like ample reason to make us better in the game. Simple soccer snobishness, if you ask me. Furthermore, whoever put the roster together wasn't very clever. I know hindsight is 50/50, but was leaving Eddie Johnson off the team in the game really a high-percentage move? 2 -
wtf #1 Unregistered - mono 05.04.2006 12:13 i personally think this game's great, specially after u get the hang of it and the way u can make up your scores, surprisingly it feels like playing WE, and im a big WE fan, so trust me, this is a must-have for any1 who likes soccer, specially cuz its the ONLY official game of the World Cup and it includes awesome new gameplay. Played the demo and really loved it. DL it! or just go buy it! 3 -

new world cup gameUnregistered - chaz 05.04.2006 20:44 i agree with asdf ... but we dont need any respect from any other country anymore. by beating mexico and playing good soccer we GET respected .. if not thats fine with me.. the other team will regret it at the end of the game. .but i do wish we would do better overseas.. when we play in friendly games. i just bought the new game.. have not put it in the 360 yet.. just kinda reading around what gamers are saying about it first. sucks really SUCKS that rooney will not be fit or even play in the WC06. go U.S.A.
