I want to hear from people who have this game and are fans of it. The last game of this kind i played was Zelda ocarina of time. I absolutley loved that game beat it over and over back in like 97 or whenever it was. I was kinda hoping that this games would be like that or better. Thanks for your advice and input. Intellegent comments only. Unregistered - Karl Hungus 05.05.2006 02:39 How can you take the ESRB serious after GTA and Now This!!! What happens if some how Viva Piñata gets modded with nude Hillary Clinton Pinata's? There is nothing you can do about this...Rate Games baised on when you put the disk in to the machine/computer and rate it how the developers made it!!! Unregistered - mike 05.05.2006 03:05 crazy letting a game of this violence lose on the world with out a proper rating Unregistered - gerrad way 05.05.2006 08:47 #5 , wake up! oblivion violent? what a proposterous statement! asdf 05.05.2006 09:35 #3: This is the best game I have ever played, and I'm not exaggerating even a little there. The freedom you get in moving around the world, not having to do the main quest if you don't want to, is awesome, and there are many many many quests outside the main one to keep you interested. The story of the main quest is good, the graphics are beautiful, and the fighting engine is much improved over the last elder scrolls (it's still not, say, Halo, or even quite Fable, but it's very good). The level-up system is fun and interesting: rather than "experience points" gained everytime you kill something, you get a little bit better at a given skill (I think there are about 20 skills) each time you use it. In order to gain a level, you have to improve the skills that are your "major" skills (you can choose these skills at the start of the game). My favorite part of the game, though, is the Assassin's Guild (Dark Brotherhood) quests, which rely on an improved stealth/sneak mode. These quests are perfectly designed, and nothing beats the rush of sneaking into a heavily guarded compound, killing the person being guarded, and then sneaking away before the guards can tell it was you. Just awesome. It does have a few annoying things: you'll never get to be the completely unstoppable character you can in most other RPGs, as the opponents increase in level when you do. If anything, the game gets harder with each level, but that's what the difficulty slider is for. The real problem is when you level up by increasing only non-combat skills, then your enemies improve in combat and you don't, so you get destroyed. If you make sure to keep your combat skills (armor skills, weapon skills) up, this isn't really a problem. Also, some people complain about loading times and graphical "pop-up" of objects in the distance as you approach them. As for the pop-up, I think it's the small price that we have to pay for such a beautiful game, and the loading times come with such a huge world. Further, there's going to be a patch released soon (the beta version is already out for the PC) to help reduce loading times a bit. Until the patch comes out, though, I'd recommend holding the A button until the game loads on start-up, this clears the cache and prevents major problems with loading. I really suggest you get the game, I think most people will really enjoy it. I was expecting to love it, but I didn't anticipate just how much I'd love it and how much gameplay it would offer. My wife, who doesn't generally like video games, is completely and utterly hooked, as well. The game's got great value in terms of having a long game, and the gameplay is awesome and addictive, as well. Unregistered - lil' gringo 05.05.2006 09:43 That's ####ing ludicrous! It's like changing the rating on Finding Nemo because someone taped over the content with adult material. And why haven't they changed the rating on sims and sims2 to mature, there have been nude patches for those games for god knows how long and I bet they'r more well-known. halo4life 05.05.2006 18:27 the reall Q is why is the 360 one now M?
