Get your act together, or I'm going to demand my money back. Unregistered - viewer 05.05.2006 17:19 it was announced yea, but they do have new screenshots! Unregistered - Logan 05.05.2006 17:22 O boy...yet another sci-fi/futuristic FPS announced. Can they seriously make something else? Don't get me wrong, I love FPS like COD2 but I mean half of the games announced for the 360 are FPS. Let's get a little more variety. And no more sports lol Unregistered - pRo loGic 05.05.2006 17:29 skeekee-ee-ee-ee Unregistered - famo 05.05.2006 17:38 Is that all you have to cry about? Common bro dont't buy if you don't want to. If you rather play boring as@ RPG'S go ahead get the ps3 and all the sequals. I love FPS. Atleast its not a WW2 shooter. Originality is what I like seeing atleast its not some sequal that is on its 5th sequal!! Glad MS is bringing alot of new titles!! #3 not flaming you just brining up some points! chimera360 05.05.2006 17:41 yeah fair enough it can be annoying but all these stories are user listed and we are lucky this site even exists. its the largest news site for 360 as every story from other sites are added, we win! so thanks Dusty, its ace! Unregistered - Rab C Nesbit 05.05.2006 17:49 Well this looks original, not at all like the bstard child of halo and doom3, and this is not real time footage if it were they would be bragging about it. Unregistered - me mother 05.05.2006 17:51 And what a sh1t name nearly as cheezy as starhip troopers, or fekking power rangers or some bent shizz. Unregistered - ROJA 05.05.2006 18:11 the guy in pic #2 looks like hes hurt pretty bad Unregistered - ee 05.05.2006 20:05 I would much rather 1st and 3rd person shooters over turn based Rpgs and sports games any day! Im waiting for that fps game to come out that makes you not want to leave your tv set kind of like Riddick or Halo but much deeper! If games keep looking and playing better I have no problem as long as it's something different everytime! The 360 has alot more to offer this time around and we should be greatful that were getting so many games and developers jumping on board! So if you don't like or if your tired of shooters just ignore the game and don't even comment but trust me they will be around for a long time! Unregistered - Jimmy Lee 05.05.2006 21:52 This looks great and I hope they come through with the 'realism'. The 360 is doing awesome with these games. I do wish they would come out with a very similar 'twisted metal'. I loved that game. Other than that, I just can't find anything to complain about except I want splinter cell now! Unregistered - Timmy 05.05.2006 22:42 It looks pretty good overall and really good in places, but the faces are horrible. Let's hope that they can do some serious improvement in that area before too long Unregistered - Lol... 05.05.2006 23:49 Interstellar Marines? Could they choose a gayer name? How about cybernetic spacetroopers? Oh, nice to see another FPS, too bad everyone will be playing Halo 3 or Gears of War. xeon121 05.06.2006 07:40 'twisted metal' and realism what??? xeon121 05.06.2006 07:40 'twisted metal' and realism what??? Unregistered - Jimmy Lee 05.06.2006 09:08 They said this game had a sense of realism and I hope they can pull that off because it helps to get into the storyline of the game. I was also hoping they would make a game like 'twisted metal'. It was a car fighting game with open maps like a crash derby. It was a awesome game and i thought full auto was going to be like it, but it sucked and wasn't close. Unregistered - shigiru 05.06.2006 13:37 number 3 is right ! there are too many fps on the 360 its getting boring no wonder it didnt sell well in japan. owell former questionmark 05.07.2006 00:42 there's too many first person shooters period. why? because they sell. halo did great, let's try and make one better. gta did great, let's make 25 to life, crime stories, mafia, godfather, ect. people always copy what sells. why do you think there are so many action movies and horror films? they sell. instead of people complaining, people should stop buying them, then they won't make as many. former questionmark 05.07.2006 00:43 p.s. there are just as many titles coming to 360 that aren't fps. and gears of war is not first person either. FreeMonk 05.07.2006 21:26 Well question mark is right. When a game sell bucket loads, companies decide to cash in, because people want more of what they had! Trouble is, normally, the "clones" are terrible terrible games, yet a lot of the FPS's that are out are really really good, and the ones on the way are looking pretty as well. Also, although Halo was pretty successful, I don't think it's the cause of all the FPS's. There's always been FPS's, and lots of them, but unfortunatly, you've only really been able to play them on a PC (Quake, Unreal, Half-Life, Counterstrike, Doom, Serious Sam, Painkiller, Farcry). The only reason you've noticed them all is because they are all getting released on the consoles at the same time as the PC version. FPS's have always been around in the bucket fulls, and Halo didn't cause that. Either way, I like FPS's. I'll play the excellent ones, rent and try the ok ones, and leave the others alone. If you don't like FPS's and think it's just happening on the X360, your in for a rough ride because the PS3 will have it's major share of them, with one exception...HALO. Although they will have Killzone, it may turn out to be pants like the first one. Add Comment |
