Bungie have recently revealed in their Pre-E3 update that they are putting together a BIG update ready for next week. Next week is of course E3 the biggest gaming event of the year, now it doesn't take a rocket scientist to come up with the possibility that the update will be released at E3. The real question however is what the update will include, maybe some Halo 3 info or maybe some info on an entirely different project.

It wasn't as good as halo but you can't say it sucked. the story was actually alright, it's just the sudden ending which lead people to retaliate in anger to Bungie, saying the whole story sucked, which isn't fair. Exceptional improvements to online were made, the graphics improved, and was actually 'fun' to play and lived up to the hype. I really don't want Halo 3 to come out anytime soon however. Look what happened when pressure was applied to the developers whilst creating halo 2, it went from an outstanding to very good status, and would gladly wait till 2008 if it meant that halo 3 would truly rule the roost. There's too many great looking 360 games coming out over 2006/2007 for me to think about the #1 game anytime soon. 10 -

agree with mikeUnregistered - Daewoodrow 05.06.2006 17:55 nerds always say things like movies and games are crap to try and look cool. Halo 2 wasn't the life altering Karmic experience everyone hyped it up to be, but I found it to be an engrossing adventure with lots of imaginative yet faithful additions. It could definitely have been improved a great deal, but given the pressure to finish it after they announced it too early and the fact that the xbox isn't capable of much more than it is doing now, i'm cutting them some slack. Remember, bungie never actually said they were making an announcement, it was an assumption. 14 -

I liked Halo 2's ending!Unregistered - Matthew Cranney 05.08.2006 12:24 For those who said that Halo 2's ending sucked or wasn't that good let me just point out that Bungies whole goal was to leave you wanting more... and it worked extremely well!!!! When me and my buddy got to the end mission we were always wondering "when will we get back to Earth"? Then we were at the ending scene (but we didn't know it was then end)and right after the Master Chief said "Sir, Finishing This Fight" my buddy said "I'd laugh if that was the end of the game"... then we saw before our eyes the following text: Project Lead Jason Jones. I was so surprised I was in shock and awe because it was such a good game and I was hoping to get back to Earth (My Buddy just laughed at his Prediction)! Now I love that ending because Bungie saved the rest of the Earth Missions for last so in truth... that was a great ending because we are still wanting to play through the rest of the Halo Story!
