Unregistered - bernie 05.08.2006 15:57 Toshiba's first batch of HD-DVD players have already sold out in Japan, and having the same quality as Blooray but half the price makes sense to everyone I know! Unregistered - XBOX360 FAN 05.08.2006 16:33 OF course HD-DVD is better than BLU-SH#$.THATS why SONY is trying to make a unified format for blu-ray to get a mass market.SONY should have stuck with HD-DVD BUT NOOOOOOOOO! SONY has a big ego behind them. Both format share the same performace it's just that blu-ray has a bit more capacity thats it.You don't need all that memory.SONY better off making tv's and stuff.SONY products suck.TOSHIBA is the killa of all electronics.SED HDTV will destroy lcd and plasma tv sets.Thats a fact Unregistered - shotty 05.08.2006 18:16 I wish microsoft bundles a hardrive and the hd-dvd drive into 1 unit. But it's still good that microsoft is allowing us to experience hd-dvd without having to pay $500 dollars plus a huge waiting list. Unregistered - ............. 05.08.2006 18:31 Man, if you ask me. MS should have made their hard drive standard and had the developers to make games as tho the hd depended on it, as well as made the 360 games run on hd dvd disks. with the ability to watch hi def movies outta the box. I mean whats the purpose of buying a hd dvd add on, and you cant even use it for gaming, makes no sense to me. Sony has done it right as far as this is concerened, dont matter to me if its hd dvd or blueray, its all included for gaming and it plays movies right outta the box. that's not to knock the 360 because there is so much that they've done right with it. but as far as hd movie play back i mean i just dont see the purpose. Islandkiwi 05.08.2006 18:34 I don't get it, why is there a contest of choosing which format? Hd-dvd is less expensive, provides same viewing quality...so what if capacity is slightly less, how much space do you actually need? Add Comment |
