After Test Dive I dont think soFamoAmo 05.09.2006 12:59 After waiting 2 hours for Test Drive to only have it freeze my xbox all 3 times I tried it. I don't think I will wait 2 more hours to be dissapointed again. Does anyone know if MS is aware of the Freeze issue on Test Drive? Did they fix it? Lost Planet is a game I am wanting to buy but I will wait to hear if it has freeze issues also!! 2 -

FAMOAMOUnregistered - Bigglesworth 05.09.2006 13:13 I haven't had any "freezing" issues you keep talking about, however the servers were getting hammered with so much traffic that online play didn't work. This morning (I am on the East Coast) it worked fine while the West was still sleeping... Perhaps this will get better in the coming days as less people are on there, which has been compounded by the free "gold" service week. 4 -

THIS is next gen, PS3 and wii need some games as good at this if they want to beat the 360... 8 -

I really want to play the Test Drive b/c of all the cool things people were saying so I'll give it another shot before deleting and downloading again.. Glad MS is putting E3 stuff on XBL thats awsome!! 9 -
Test DriveUnregistered - Mega 05.09.2006 14:08 It's not an isolated problem. Many different people are expressing the same trouble on many different forums. I'm having the same problem with the Test Drive demo myself. It normally occurs when you come in contact with another online player.. some type of glitch. Disconnect Xbox Live when you play and it shouldn't happen anymore. 10 -

Tried the DemoUnregistered - Ric Hard 05.09.2006 14:43 I tried the snow area and it makes you feel you're there. Your footing seems like you are walking in a natural snow storm. Plus the game has alright controlling. You use the right analog to aim the gun, the left analog to move around. You also use the left trigger to throw grenades and the right to shoot your weapons. the bumpers are used to turn your character in degrees. the (A)button is used for jumping and the(b) button is used for picking stuff up. It all may sound complicated but when you are playing, it becomes very easy to do. The graphics are as crisp as real life. I was very impressed with this demo and have to say that the xbox360 is starting to show some of what it is able to do. Sony better come correct because I can't see why people would want to pay all that money for a system that pretty much does the same thing as the 360. I definitely would purchase this game when it comes out. Capcom is showing love to the 360 with games like this and DEAD RISING. Thats not including their classics for the xbox Arcade. When the smoke clears the 360 could be the system of choice. 13 -
xbox 360Unregistered - xbox 360 05.09.2006 14:53 greetings to my fellow 360 owners, hey this game is going to be hot, buy the way i just bought ghost recon for the 360 i actually traded oblivion for it. Man this games is nice, but what got me off the bat was the sound omg. Has anyone of you played it the sound is incredible and the game as a whole blows the doors off of socom lol. Anyway I hope that ms will continue to bring top notch games to the table...great graphics, great gameplay in hidef with a great controller and custome soundtracks, oh and i almost forgot, xbox live. xbox360rocks 05.09.2006 14:56 Wow that's crazy for everyone. I have a 1.5 MBPS Dsl connection lol which is fast but slow compared to others. I usually take 3-4 hours for a game download and I have done both test drive and Lost planet in less than an hour. Test drive is unbelievable, I love it. And I don't play games like Lost Planet alot, but I was giddy playing it, it's fun, like the guy before said the controls are perfect, I love the way it's set up, it's very easy to learn, the aiming is great it's not too loose so to where you are all over the screen but good to where u can aim easily and quickly. With the spider thing in the snow, yeah scared the crap out of me. Great graphics, great gameplay, controls,and sound, everything we were promised from Microsoft, sony fans can't say that. Hope you all get this under control so u get to experience this too. It's nice to see that as the system gets older everything is getting better. Off to see Microsoft's live show, PEACE! Lost planet downloads fastUnregistered - famo 05.09.2006 15:21 I went home on my lunch for 20 minutes and Lost Planet downloaded completely and I deleted TEST DRIVE Demo and I am re downloading it. Hopefully that will correct the freeze issue!! Can't wait to play Lost Planet the controls sound similar to GRAW and PDZ!!! Anyone know if the PDZ new multiplayer maps are out today? I heard that they were releasing the new PDZ MAPS today?? Thanks-famo 17 -

FreeMonk 05.09.2006 20:15 This game is mega awesome. I must of jumped out of my seat 3 times during the 1st level demo, and I even died before the end. That huge spider thing is cool. The snow is fantasic and realistic. The way that sometimes it's hard to see infront of you is a great edition. Then there's the mech's. Getting into one of those bad boys made shout with joy. So fluid, so smooth. This game is going to rock! 22 -
