Just when we thought after Microsoft's amazing news couldn't get any better? It just did... turns out what was shown in that trailer wasn't just a simple trailer its the actual halo 3 engine being ran in realtime on the 360. Its what the actual game will look like Master Chief was ACTUALLY controllable guys! Here are some snippets "The Bungie representatives made it clear to us that the trailer was running in real-time on the Xbox 360." "The demo shifted away from the crater to the part of the level you see the Master Chief walking in from. He was controllable, which means that the trailer indicates just how good the game will look." "The crater seen in the trailer is three miles across, and it's all rendered in real geometry. Halo 3 has a new global lighting system that now lights everything uniquely from the same source,"

Less than an hour after E3 all the PS fans were ripping and pointing fingers saying "The Halo 3 stuff was CGI, just the same thing you xfags blamed Sony for doing" They then proceeded to talk amount themselves and throw Sh!t with great job and with their chests puffed out like a rooster in a hen-house. Well ........ that came to a VERY FAST end didn't it. Once again, PS3 fans "THOUGHT" they had a straw to grasp at only to have the 360 once again take the "DREAM MACHINE PS3" and throw it to the ground the rub its face in the dirt. Maybe ..... Bungie needs to work hard on the environment. I hope they didn't handicap themselves with the whole "Africa" setting. The scenery normally wouldn't be impressive. 10 -
deepio 05.10.2006 08:52 Relax man, this is just the tip of the iceburg, bare in mind the trailer was made with minimal impact on the development process so there's still loooaaadds we haven't seen. I'm sure the rest of the graphics would have impressed more had we seen more close up shots. 11 -

They will get the same quality of graphics and the same style of game play they have seen so far (NONE) It is called a "DVD PLAYER" MOVIES I recommend (or as PS3 fans like to call it ... "GOING TO BE REAL TIME IN GAME") are Toy story, Shrek, Ants, or anything along that lines. 15 -

From looking at the trailer they have spent alot of time on this game. Whoever said it looks Halo2ish is smokin something. No doubt the trailer didn't show a hella of a lot but it showed enough to say damn this is gonna be killer... Tree's swaying, wind blowing, dust blowing, and the sceanery kicked a@@!!! This game is probably almost done and I bet they have worked on this since 360 was in development. This trailer has some of the best graphics I have ever seen. 17 -
deepio 05.10.2006 11:47 With a release date somewhere in 2007, I doubt it's nearly done, they said themselves there'll be more graphical touches to add to the game-engine for a start. They probably started developing as soon as Halo 2 was done. But yeh, dam I can't wait!! 18 -

The wind and dust was weak and detail on the ships wasn't up to par. If you have seen the HD videos of Gears of War compared to the Halo 3 demo, then Halo looked pathetic. I expect more from Bungie. I hope they get some tips from the other developers. 19 -
