Epic ran a four-on-four team deathmatch session behind closed doors at the Microsoft booth at E3 this morning. -- "There were obviously a ton of great games to see -- Mass Effect, Too Human, the Halo 3 trailer again. But after finishing about a half hour of intense multiplayer action, there was one game I knew I had to see again: Gears of War. I don't care if I have to hold Cliffy B. hostage or spray hot booth-babes with a fire-hose as a diversion, but I will play Gears again before the end of this E3 -- it was that fun." --

With Halo 3 coming out and w/o a doubt the biggest and best game on "ANY" system bar none!
With that being said, we now have "GEARS of WAR". This game will be Halo's 3rd person equivalent in my book!I'm looking forward to this game soooo much. The Xbox live features will make it even more awesome and aw-inspiring. I think we'll have 2 titles to tout kings of all games Halo 3 first person shooter and king of all games and Gears of War king of 3rd person shooters, on any and ALL platforms.
Not to mention the other 100 plus titles we have coming out by xmas. Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! This game is going to do very very well!
With Gears of War / Halo 3 / Dead Rising / Too Human / Mass Effect / Alan Wake / Rainbox Six / Lost Planet / Blue Dragon / Enchanted Arm / DOAX2 / Fabel 2 / Prey / GTA4 plus all the rest I've missed out, this will be a very good year for MS!
The good thing is that with Halo 3 finishing off it's story in 2007, MS have a big choice of games to carry a francise off on. Whether we get another Halo after Halo 3 is a mystery, but it was always supposed to be a trilogy. Maybe a prequal, but at least MS have options after Halo.
