Bungie have recently updated the Halo 3 section fo their site with a Halo 3 FAQ. It answers some of the more obvious questions like what console Halo 3 will debut on and it also goes into detail about other more demanding questions like how good the graphics will be on the newly announced title.
Take a look at the FAQ below, despite the fact that many of the answers are unbearably vague you may find some if it to be quite interesting;

They are flying over him kind of like how an ally air force would fly over friendly troops. What do you guys think? To me, it just seems like on Halo:CE and Halo 2, prior to the coloboration between the humand and the Elite against the Brutes, the Covenant would attack the MC on site, specially the Covenant ships. My speculation is that some factions of the Covenant will be coloborating with the MC. Unregistered - 007 05.12.2006 02:08 its the only way that they can beat the forerunners Swifty 05.12.2006 05:02 Maybe the covenant are rogues who didnt like what was going on and decided to rebel and because of their actions they were exiled then on their travels they noticed a drunk master chief rusting in a ditch and decided to ally and destory the world Unregistered - swRaptor 05.12.2006 05:49 [FIRST OF ALL... SRY MY BAD ENGLISH] in the announcement the guy said something about the players will reconise if the are good the big round thing in the middle,,,, hmmm i sat down and look close on that thing on pics and on the video,,, and isent that the big wepon you see in the map ( nearly at the end of halo 2) thats chargin up?.. i know i know.. the RINGS is the wepond,,, but what IF that big thing on earth is controling the rings wepons,,, and when it charged up and shott out that beam it maby hits the ring and making it a wepon?.. And yes i think the covernats is allied with MC now,,,i mean they dident atack him at all on the clif and if you look closley they are coming from behind him to ,,, so i think some covernat chip maby have droped him of at the clif so he can go the bakway in or something,,, Omali 05.12.2006 08:53 the reason they are not attacking MC is that MAYBE the big ass artifact on the ground is a little more important than a little dot on the side of the mountain. And #2, if you knew anything at all about Halo's story (you clearly dont) you would know that the Forerunners are extinct! so obviusly the convenant and humans arent teaming up to fight them. what i think WILL happen is that the "heretic" covenant will help the humans (duh, the Arbiter), the Arbiter will die at the end for his people and MC will leave, since he performed his duty Trickedbullet 05.12.2006 09:23 IN Halo 2 the covenant who help you at first are very reluctant, as it took gravemind and the little retarded floating ball to convince the arbitor. And you never got any help from the rebel covenant as you only meet them as the Arbitor and they are the enemy and you never come across them again after the gravemind incident. I believe that the elites that helped you only did so after they were discraced by the Prophet and the Brutes took over. That probably pushed them over the edge. I kinda doubt that all the covenant suddenly decided to become allies with humans. The covenant also did not see the huge ring weapon in the ground because it was buried. They flew past the Chief and as the fleet nears the weapon, it begins to open up and fire. The time in between tells me that the coventant didnt consider the Chief a threat. After all, what could the Chief do to a huge fleet of warships and fighters? Even WITH a NUKE? Unregistered - Dark 05.12.2006 09:43 Okey here is my theory the in crater is the ARK the thing thats activates the Halos to to start at once and another thing the crater is old mombassa where it use to be untill that capital ship went into Slipspace at the end level called old mombassa in halo 2 becfause you saw the hole city everything being destroyed thats why the profit of reget went there to get to the Ark what do you think Unregistered - 007 05.12.2006 14:17 Fuc you # 5 you dont know sh!t on what they will do to the story...just b/c they say their extinct doesnt mean sh!t...it just means in the story that... everybody thinks their extinct...I was playing with the idea your clearly on of those game freaks calm the fuc down!...earth could be part of halo for all we know...or it could be a big ass gum ball its up to bungie crazyman 05.12.2006 16:44 Q - Is this the last ever Halo game? A - It is the conclusion to this story arc did anybody else notice that they didnt say that this is the last ever halo game just that it is the last in this "story arc" tronix 05.12.2006 20:10 Omali (#5) Quit being such an idiot. First, I never claimed that I knew ALL about the Halo world. I CLEARLY stated that this was just speculation. Second, how can anybody claim that the Covenant does not consider the MC as a threat, even when compared to that weapon. Remeber Halo:CE? MC not only wiped out an entire fleet, he destroid an entire ring (Halo). I do not want CLAIM that I knoe what is going on with the story. Once again, I was just SPECULATING. Add Comment |
