Unregistered - #1 is an a$$ 05.11.2006 21:43 I sincerely hope that Redstorm builds this with with both a 1st and 3rd person perspective capability. Look to the Ghost Recon Series for inspiration and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a 3rd person!! #1 is simply trying to get over the let down that is Sony...they have had a piss poor show thus far!! former questionmark 05.11.2006 22:17 from what they've said, it will be the first person gun view. it switches to 3rd when you use cover or when you rapel down a building. p.s. this 2nd rate game will also be on the ps3. but of course then it will rule. haloalldaylo 05.11.2006 22:41 when it finally comes too the big P.O.S Unregistered - 05.12.2006 11:24 Who cares about 3rd person, just a waste of screen space and can't see what your shooting at half the time. Oh cool, I can see my characters back!!! Unregistered - TMoney 05.12.2006 13:20 Ok...I am not a fan of the 3rd person shooters (kinda an oxymoron since games like Rainbow and Recon are considered "first-person shooters"). I honestly don't understand why people prefer 3rd-person over 1st. Wait...I know why. They're so used to playing Playstation games like SOCOM and Metal Gear Solid. Those games are fine...but it's time to grow up and see what more mature gamers enjoy. The 1st-person perspective is more realistic and intense whereas the 3rd person perspective reminds me of a platform game. When Recon 2 offered BOTH 1st person and 3rd person (actually, the Ubisoft called it "over the shoulder") they did the fans a HUGE disservice because the over-the-shoulder perspective provided a significant advantage over 1st person players. The viewing angle is greater when using over-the-shoulder. This becomes a real problem in multiplayer games when you're competing in squad games. former questionmark 05.12.2006 16:00 i like the over the shoulder in gr: 2, gr: ss, and graw simply because it is easier to tell when you are protected by cover better. it's functional either way. my biggest problem with ghost is the jack@sses that like to hop in a co-op game and kill their own teammates. as far as first person, i would rather have the ghost reticle view than the rainbow front of the gun view. Unregistered - Asylumchild P.B.P 05.14.2006 19:11 yes finally a rainbow six game that will be good can't wait. This game will be better the G.R.A.W if people give it a chance. Add Comment |
