The RPG from the man who created Final Fantasy could be the game that kicks Xbox 360 into high gear out East…It’s no secret that the Xbox 360 is selling slowly in Japan. It needs a serious kick up the arse to get consoles flying off shelves – a killer app that will encourage suspicious Japanese gamers to shell out on a console that has never performed well out East.

And from what I've heard, the marketing sucks big time over there. I mean would you buy a 400 console for a next gen fighter and a hack and slash game and nothing else? Probably not. Blue Dragon will help out the 360 of course. I mean the guy who created Chrono Trigger and the guy who did the artwork for that game as well as the "Dragon" series that he does (you know, DBZ, Dragon Warrior, etc.). I do want this game though. It looks like a fun concept. 7 -

Sakaguchi's games Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are the TRUE test for the 360 in japan. Blue Dragon despite slow 360 japan sales has been on the most wanted games in japan list since it was announced. Last I checked blue dragon was the 6th most wanted game in japan. 8 -
