During the 2006 E3 show, Advancedmn.com had a chance to sit down with Dennis Dyack. He talks about and answers our questions one of the new next-gen titles for the XBox 360, Too Human.

This game was shown way to early and as a result of that people will always have a hard time seeing the games true potential! I really think that Too Human will be one heck of a game talked about for years and hope that all of the added materials will breath fresh life into this title and we forget about this E3! Unregistered - Agreed! 05.15.2006 18:02 I loved the Silicon Knights release 'Eternal Darkness', however this title (based on the showing from E3) has moved to the wait and see list. It simply did not need to be shown. The levels looked horrible, the animation and framerate were appalling, and the game looked....well boring! I watched some of the videos and I could hear the demo rep pitching the insane coolness of shooting during a cinematic....um if this is all this title offers, I will be skipping it for sure. Unregistered - wii 05.15.2006 18:46 hello?? did u guys see this game on E3 the gameplay looked terrible, and i thought that it would be a nice game, but it seems this one sucks @ss. anyway there is still halo :P Unregistered - REV. SaTAn 05.15.2006 19:25 I think its very telling that not once did he mention how bad the camera was, or say that the "real" camera would be in place by release......so sorry folks, that IS the real camera. Unregistered - ee 05.15.2006 21:09 Read the article again before you go judging this game please! It's not ready yet and there are alot of things that need to be implemented! What we saw was a e3 demo and thats it's so stop crying and let's move on and wait to see what this game ends up turning into! Halo 3 will hopefully be one hell of a game but me personally I want some answers on this tearing issue i've been seeing and want to know if this will ever be fixed! This little screen hiccup is the only thing thats making me think that there is a problem with 360 and I want some freakin answers MS please! Unregistered - Tearing my heart out 05.15.2006 23:13 In response to #5, the screen tearing issue is something that has plagued ATI cards for some time. I have stopped taking notice of it on the 360 (it happens quite a bit). I guess I have come to accept that this is the norm. You will not hear from MS on this one! Unregistered - OMFG this blows 05.15.2006 23:30 Wow, all the hype around this one. All the promises from Dyack to 'revolutionize' gameplay. All of the press (recent cover of EGM), and we get THIS??? First off the levels look like they are from the Nintendo 64 (with reflective surfaces added for good measure. The animation is completely focked, Baldar the god of crappy animation who skates up and down stairs with his standard run animation. The effects are absolutely the worst I have seen. The tron esque glow of the swords is plain and simple...G@Y!! If I were Dennis I would shut up and get back to work on this one. I am doubtful that even allowing this to cook for another 10 years would make it any better. Norse mythology mixed in with robots!?!? Additionally if you are going to take camera control away from the player, it had better be damn good. Watch the first clip, there is a sequence where Bulldare runs and is almost completely off camera....then the camera swings around and catches up.....if the camera is what is being touted as the newest must have feature....it better work, and at present it simply doesn't. I was actually looking forward to this title, now I am not even considering it. Anyone care to wager that this is the one and only release for this trilogy?? My money is on yes. Unregistered - Scrooge 05.16.2006 02:35 Cut your complaining out. He says that this is a very early demo and the finished product will be much better. This is Silicon Knights, they don't do crappy games! Add Comment |
