The first downloadble mission will be released in two weeks for the Xbox 360's Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
From developer Ashley Cheng (ACheng): "In the downloadable mission, which will be released in two weeks, you battle for control of a massive cave, complete with a haunting pirate ship. Once you conquer the lair, it forever belongs to your character. You can start a band of pirates. You can plunder. And you can decorate your captain's chamber with furniture."

I guess i couldnt get past the fact that every time i take a step or turn, all i saw was LOADING AREA, LOADING AREA, LOADING AREA over and over and over. After a while i was like fudge it. I just traded it for a copy of GRAW and now im happy. Yes the gameplay was good and it was interesting but that loading area message was horrible to me. Its sad because i guess i was really looking for an alternative to shooters, dont get me wrong i love shooters but i want those and other types of games as well, you know like i want my library to be well rounded for my 360. I hope MS produce some awesome sports, and rpg titles. 8 -

I can see how it's not for everyone, though. I, personally, did not find the 'loading area' distracting except when I was riding a horse down a hill. For all of the positives the game provides, I'll let it slide. I can see how it would annoy some people, however. 13 -

The loads are a bit annoyin but arent too bad to be honest. i got a bit bored with the hack n slash style fighting too, so i became an archer.. and its amazing how much of a difference to the gameplay you get! its like playin a new game.. coz as opposed to chargin in whackin things, ur more reserved, like a sniper. its awesome.. and it is great that us 'non-mage' people are gettin something different! asdf 05.17.2006 09:18 Yeah, I have to say playing as a marksman totally renewed the game for me, too. It's too bad that the marksman skill is REALLY difficult to increase. I had to make a LOT of money before I could train it, and until then, I was totally ineffective in combat. Still, once I hit Journeyman level, nothing really beat the delight of hitting someone from so far away that they ran around looking for what hit them, then just gave up, so I could hit them again :D. 18 -
