I hate when MTV and news dramatizes everything. Also it's interesting to note they had to fight for the chainsaw. And it seems all they said was chainsaw this and chainsaw that. Unregistered - shotty 05.21.2006 23:07 Canadians finally get the best value for a dollar. The ps3 is the cheapest in Canada but it's still overpriced compared the xbox 360 . But I don't care because my xbox 360 is here to stay and with all these new games and accessories I'm pretty sure it's the same case around the world. Basically if you want blu-ray go with the ps3 but those people should know blu-ray is a failing product. Pioneer released the first blu-ray drive for the PC today at a price of $1000. It burns Blu-ray at a slow 2x and burns DVDs at an embarassing 2.4x DL. It can't even burn CD. And guess what it only does single layers so it holds less than HD-DVD which are doing 30Gb double sided currently with 45Gb arriving when the world needs it. Sony is also using MPEG 2 in it's movies which are really inferior in quality to HD-DVD Mpeg 4 which you can notice greatly in pictures containing water, smoke, sky and other such visuals. If you have your mindset on getting a ps3 please wait atleast 6 month after launch for the bugs in the blu-ray drives to be removed. Remember what happened to the launch ps2 drives failing. Sony has to get it priorities set or else it's going down like enron. Add Comment |
