The only new feature is that you can continue to browse the marketplace while something downloads in the background. It would be nice if you could play an offline game while the download is in progress... 13 -
assjacket 05.25.2006 18:30 I don't know, it said that it would pause a download if a game was being played for bandwidth purposes. You don't need bandwidth if your not playing online. Perhaps you will be able to play a single player game or arcade game. 14 -

You'll be able to download content and play games Offline, but once you contect to an Online Multiplayer game while downloading content, the content your downloading will pause, to prevent Lag issues in your online frag fest. Personally, although this does need fixing, I think a major fix they need to sort out is there servers. It takes AGGGGESSSS to download anything from Live!. An easy simple 200-300mb demo takes around 3-4 minutes on my PC, yet it can take upto 20-30minutes onwards on Live!. I know it's probably because everyone else is downloading, but come on, this is MS. The owners of millions of pounds worth of servers, and software. Surely they can speed things up a little for us! 15 -
asdf 05.25.2006 22:47 Haha IGN is so clueless. They raved about how awesome it was that, with this update, you can PLAY YOUR OWN MUSIC OVER THE GAME'S MUSIC.
