The spring update is expected to be released to all Xbox Live users "in about a week" and will be followed up with a fall update, as part of their plan to release two major updates each year.

Unregistered - FreeMonk 05.29.2006 00:00 This is why I really like Microsoft so much, and don't mind spending £40 a year for my X-Box Live subscription, because Microsoft treat there customers with respect. Just days after the launch of the console, there were updates to the dashboard fixing minor problems that people had. Since then we've had numerous updates for the dashboard, games and backward compatability, although they are a little scarce. This is a major update, and one that is needed. Microsoft have listened to everyone gripes, from DVD playback to background downloading, and it awesome. It sounds g@y to say it, but I feel loved by MS because they are listening to suggestions by myself and others and fixing these problems, and thats why I don't regret spending 1p on my 360 and Live! Subscription. The question now is will Sony follow in MS footsteps and listen to it's gamers and customers!? The answer has already been answered. Nooooo! I'm not going to list reason why this has been answer because everyone already has there own views (blu-ray, HDMI on core package, price!), but Sony have always been out for the cash, and not bothered about there customers feelings. MS is doing a great job!! Now if only they'd release a few more demos like Chromehounds, Mass Effect, Too Human, Gears of War and Dead Rising and I would be a happy bunny! OOOHH and Street Fighter 2 Arcade! 12 -
