I have to ask, why would anyone want to convert the files to WMV/MPEG 2(the format that the X understands), when you can simply stream these videos to the 360??

You need a component like the MCE Extender to transcode and stream, but it works like a champ with ZERO converting!

Anyone know of an add on for MCE that does more than just divx / xvid? anything that will on the fly stream more than just those two formats?

This thing really isn't that great - it won't allow you to stream the files while you are transcoding them.

I only got the tool to convert and i didn't get it to play on the Xbox360

How does this work for custom soundtracks. Can i tranfer my music off my lap top or pc to the harddrive of the 360?
