Registration is now open for the Project Gotham Racing 3 WCG USA Championship Online Qualifiers! This is the first step on the road from the US to Monza, Italy for the worlds largest video game tournament and festival. Anybody who is interested in participating in the upcoming events must register now before their regional deadlines. Pacific Registration Deadline: June 4th Sign up online or live at the WCG US Open in Los Angeles June 3rd & 4th South Registration Deadline: June 4th Midwest Registration Deadline: June 20th Northeast Registration Deadline: June 27th There will be two online tournaments per region and only the top two (2) competitors from each online tournament will advance to the regional Pro Tour LAN event. The top two (2) competitors from each regional Pro Tour LAN event will receive travel and accommodations to the WCG USA National Final where the top gamer from each discipline will be named to Team USA and go on to represent the United States and compete for over $400,000 in Monza, Italy at the World Cyber Games Grand Final Schedules for the Online Qualifiers can be found at the World Cyber Games USA website: us.worldcybergames.com Over $100,000 in cash and prizes will be given out through the WCG USA qualification process including: WCG US Open Invitational (Project Gotham Racing 3) --------------------------------------------------------- 1st place: $1,000 + trip to WCG USA National Final with preferred seeding 2nd place: $500 + trip to WCG USA National Final with preferred seeding 3rd place: Prizes TBA + trip to WCG USA National Final with preferred seeding 4th place: trip to WCG USA National Final with preferred seeding WCG USA National Final (Project Gotham Racing 3) --------------------------------------------------------- 1st place: $3,500 + trip to Monza, Italy 2nd place: $1,900 3rd place: $900 Registration Fee: $5 (USD) but FREE registration has been EXTENDED for a limited time only, so dont wait. I saw an interview with one of their developers and he was asked if he could say anything about the Killzone E3 2005 trailer, he insisted on NO COMMENT, but he was asked multiple times so then he said I'll say just this " Q2 2007 ". I think they want to own the 2007 E3 as they did with E3 2005. Anyway this is great news I knew they were working on it in the dark just think what will happen when this comes out, not even Half-life is as big a game compared to Killzone ;) 4 -
