Now that developers have received the final development kits, they are finally able to test their games to the full. Gears of War developer Cliffy B is impressed with how much better the final dev kit is than the beta kit.
"I have seen the future - the next generation of consoles," Cliffy B wrote in a blog entry. "I have had more than a taste of what true next generation gaming is going to have to offer and I'm here to tell you - You're in for something special. "I can't speak much for Sony right now - yeah, we're working on stuff for the PS3 but honestly I'm so busy with Gears that it's all I'm seeing and I can tell you - Microsoft is giving you a hell of a system. assjacket 09.09.2005 15:53 i totally agree....i am on this site because i can't wait for the 360 and i want to know as much about it as soon as i can, i'm just a geek like that. You won't find me slamming the PS3 though, cause in six months or whatever i'll be on the PS3 site looking for the same info. The reason i'm getting a 360?..its coming out first. Why not wait and get the PS3?...cause the 360 is going to have kick ass games that i don't want to have to go over to my friends house to play. Sony will have to wait to get my money though, the 360 is going to make a major dent in my wallet. I'll probably have to wait until the PS3 drops a price point or two, but I'm very sure the 360 will hold my attention. Thats Right, I'm a NextGen Fanboy!! 22 -
