Recently Bizarre Creations held a press meeting where they showed off some footage of a nearly complete Project Gotham 3. I believe it comes with bateries so, you can choose to keep buying batteries or buy a recharge kit. That mean you'll have to buy rechargeable batteries, but I think the kit comes with the rechargeable batteries. 13 -

'Capture the Track' mode sounds awesome and I've watch the 40 minute video with the game develepors, and at least that gave me an idea of what to expect, they even showed a few things with the game up and running, not much as they wanted to keep things under wraps. It's cool that there is a snapshot feature that you can use to swap pictures with friends regarding the races you've played. And it's supposed to be a free floating camera so you can take pictures from any angle. Can't wait for this to finally come out! I'll have a lot of sleepless nights playing this game! 55 -

Only a handful of screenshots were released, no real footage shown, and no they show this off and it looks fantasic. From the shadows on the dashboard, to the lighting effects to the dirt flying up to the building and trees around the track, it looks fantasic. Also, PGR series have always been a dream to play, so this should be no different. As for Gran Turismo 5?? Well, I left it at GT2 when they still hadn't put damage on the cars. All this crap about 'the manufactors don't want us to damage the cars' is a load of crap. PGR2 had a crapload of cars, all damaged easily. GT is supposed to be a RACING SIMULATOR, yet you can crash your car into a wall at 160mph and drive out of it without a dent, I wish my car was like that! Anyway, PGR3 looks great, and I'm from the UK as well, so go UK!! 64 -

I mean take a second and think about it. Do you really think a company as talented as Bizarre would allow the first movie of the game been played to be released to the world at this level of quality? I'll answer this for you just in case some of you are having trouble keeping up, the answer is 'no', they'll most likely release official footage at XO5 or in the near future. This was just a journalist in the 'right place at the right time'. I'm used to idiot PS3 fans been unable to accept reality but now even Revolution fans seems to losing the plot as well and the Revolution sounds like it will be a nice second console to own, at least I intend to get one as well. What Sony did was to create a machine that appealed to the average non-gamer which is well and good but to complain that MS and everyone else 'owes' Sony respect is like complaining to a sports car owner that they should show respect to Ford for making mass market cars first etc. So what if Sony did well with the PS1, PS2 was overhyped and sadly lacking and PS3 shows a distint lack of vision, they have no clear idea where they are going with it (and if you disagree please feel free to post links showing otherwise). Game Junkie 10.01.2005 15:51 Listen, How do you figure the 360 would fail? Personally I would'nt care if it's the 360, ps3, or whatever the case may be. I just want good gaming experiences. Right now the 360 looks to introduce the next stage in gaming. The ps3 is slated for spring of 06 (in japan) and won't see the retail side of things in the states til' sometime in 07'. Personally I would'nt wait til' 2007 when I could be playing hd gaming as soon as next month. I'm not stuck on a brand names, I enjoy gaming as a whole. 120 -

Unregistered - Alex 01.10.2006 10:03 Some of you chaps need to be reminded this is an Xbox 360 site and the discussion topic here is this PGR3 footage. I'm sure Sony have a great console and they seem to think they know what they're doing. But you have to be amused when PS3 fannyboys are so sure of the console and will defend it to the end although having never seen any real in-game footage (like as shown here). Everything Sony showcased the system with was CGI videos and tech demos that are way off the mark of any real playable level of visuals we're going to see when it launches this time next year... you heard me! They have f*ck all to show the PS3 off with and even the console desings are still only conceptual. If you think it'll be launched in Spring 06 think again... and if it is expect it to come to US and Europe late 06 early 07. Suck! Add Comment |
