Here are some photos taken by Major Nelson from the ongoing launch party “Zero Hour”. THEONENONLY 11.22.2005 02:23 Damn here it is Nov. 22 and i have no xbox360 went to walmart and was 16 in line only to find that there were 14 systems. 4 Premiums and 10 cores at that. Im so pissed off with MS right now. I preordered back in july and probly wont get my system until January or even Febuary. Im disapointed that they couldnt even meat the demand of 1/4 of there preorders because there so consontrated on getting systems to Japan. You know what f#ck MS and F%ck Japan too. 16 -

I GOT ONE!Unregistered - undisputed2k6 11.22.2005 04:42 I went to Walmart Supercenter tonight just to see how many people were there waiting in line. I really didn't think I would be getting an Xbox 360 because I didn't wait in line like others. When I made it there there were over 70 people waiting in line (I live in a small area - Natchez, MS) ....then the cashier comes out and says they only have 15 systems available. Man ...talk about people were made and some of them were there since 5:00PM ....so they took the 15 people back to the layaway dept to either buy the system or put it on layaway. Come to find out ...they only had 3 premiums and 12 cores ....again people were mad as f*ck (but no fights ...dammit ..lol) ....damn near 90% of the people didn't buy one and decided to put their name on the waiting list for more premiums. I was like WTF? ..so there was only like 10 people there including me and they said if we wanted to by them we could. So I jumped in line. MAN I LOVE M$ .....the system is everything and more ..I have it hooked up to my media center and all ....worked like a charm on first try ....just no hard drive or headset :( ...I can get that later though ..but I did buy a memory card .....my gamertag is undisputed2k6 ....I have perfect dark zero right now ..madden 06 should be here later today ...so if you wanna get at me on live you know where to find me peace............. 19 -

JsonHenry 11.22.2005 09:12 I got a Core system from Wal-Mart at 12midnight, then I got a premium system from Sam's Club at 7am. The thing is, the Core system only boots up every other time. It turns on, then nothing happens. Black screen, no noise, no nothing. Then I turn it off, and turn it back on, and it works just fine. I don't get it. I am returning it tonight after work since it doesn't work. Anyone else having this problem? I haven't got to try my premium system yet, I came straight in to work right after I bought it. Hopefully it works correctly all the time, not just half of the time. 22 -

It's a big release day and they send out 18 xbox 360s to stores such as walmart, target, compusa, etc... 18 xbox 360????? Now how pathetic is that??? There are more TVs of one kind than xbox 360s... This is a very bad move by microsoft trying to make people think it's the best seller when there is nothing to sell. What are customers saying about this? Well the polls show that many customers are upset by this marketing strategy and won't buy xbox 360 anymore. 74.25% (5,327,628) customers who went to stores to buy xbox 360 on the release date said that now they will wait until ps3 comes out. This is very bad for microsoft. Many people are disappointed in microsoft that such a large company couldn't provide more than 18 xbox 360 to these stores. It's pathetic! 25 -

Pre-ordering was the way to go...Unregistered - GhostRiderTGAC 11.22.2005 11:53 My suggestion to all of you who didn't end up with a system would be that you walk into a Gamestop, or EB Games and put cash down on an order, or order one from Amazon.com. I think trying to purchase from one of the big box retailers is fruit-less. Last year I tried to get a generation 1 XBOX at Christmas time and everyone was sold out of new and pre-owned systems. I have to wait a couple of weeks after Christmas to get one and that system has been available since 2001. I know I was late to get on board with XBOX gaming but I vowed never to deal with that headache again. As soon as I heard that pre-orders we being taken by the Gamestop down the street I walked in and put down the cash and got on the list. I was number 4 out of 12 people who pre-ordered and who recieved their systems this morning (they didn't open at midnight but rather 8AM). There was no line, no crazy upset people, and I knew with 100% certainty that I was getting a premium system. My experience was so positive and I am so thankful I took the time to pre-order. Now I have a system, as does one of my best friends who also saw fit to pre-order and so many other people are reduced to wining about why Microsoft only shipped a few systems to stores like Wal-Mart. My point being, if you think it's worth having then pre-order it. Don't wait till the 11th hour and complain if you don't get one because the store sold out. 27 -
