The Battle for Middle-Earth II: The Campaigns
Submitted By: Lost Alley
20 Apr 2006 09:04 | Xbox 360
This summer, Electronic Arts will unleash the first real-time strategy (RTS) game on the Xbox 360. While many RTS titles have fallen by the wayside on other consoles, EA has a number of factors working in their favor. First off, being based off of the renowned The Lord of the Rings trilogy solidifies the back-story and focus of the game. Secondly – and most importantly – EA’s internal studio has managed to create an RTS control scheme that actually plays well on the Xbox 360. Finally, rather than simply do a quick port of the popular PC title that is currently on store shelves, the Xbox 360 version gets some major upgrades for its online multiplayer modes, including the likes of King of the Hill, Capture and Hold, and Resource Race – all for 4 players over Xbox Live. This week, TeamXbox are taking a look at the single-player campaign for The Battle for Middle-Earth II, which has a separate focus for either following the forces of good or the minions of evil.

RockStar Presents Table Tennis - First Look
Submitted By: 360Monster
19 Apr 2006 13:54 | Xbox 360
What makes a good game? Is it jaw-dropping graphics? Quirky gameplay? A long campaign? Lots of content? Whatever you think makes a good game; I can almost guarantee that Rockstar Presents…Table Tennis is not your ideal definition of what a good game should be. That’s the point though, as everyone loves an underdog right? RPTT is definitely what you could class as a next-gen underdog, and when you consider that there isn’t any create-a-character features or any real life table tennis “stars” included in the game, you could begin to think that this underdog has already had it’s day. This game isn’t about including the features that everyone wants to see though, it’s about one thing: simplicity.

Often I dream about flying, I dream about being able to move things with my mind, how freaking cool would that be? Chances are it is never gonna happen, but you can’t say I’ve not tried, I’ve hung around nuclear reactors and I’ve tried being caught in a cosmic wave, all I succeeded in doing was making myself sterile.
I guess the second best thing to being actually able do these things would be to have a video game where you can do these things; Psi Ops and Second Sight , as good as they were, were very limited.
