The April issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly has yet another Halo rumor to report. -- "In last issue's Rumor Mill, I mentioned that Xbox 360 owners will soon be able to buy full Xbox 1 games via Microsoft's Xbox Live Marketplace. And now I've got the juicy scoop on the first game that Bill Gates' crew will make available. Look for Bungie's epic first-person shooter Halo on the Marketplace sometime before this summer. I only hope the developer makes this version's multiplayer mode Xbox Live compatible."

Well this trailer does not get you blood flowing like the day five trailer does but still it delivers an amazing peek at the sprawling cities that Oblivion has to offer. Wow was the first word out of mouth as the trailer started up. I have never wanted the weekend to be over as much as I do today.

Top Gun Composer to Score "Two Worlds"

Topware Interactive Inc. announced today it has inked award-winning film and television composer Harold Faltermeyer to score the soundtracks for its upcoming fantasy multiplayer role-playing game "Two Worlds". Faltermeyer, mostly known for his work on the soundtracks of "Top Gun" and "Beverly Hills Cop", will bring his vast expertise to the table when he creates a unique and mind-blowing atmosphere of sound for Two Worlds. His mix of gothic sounds and orchestral rock ballads are going to cast a spell over the players and deliver a punch to an already engaging storyline.

The day five countdown trailer has sold Oblivion's combat system. Notice the quick switch between melee and magic combat. If I only had the baddies shown in this trailer to fight all day, I would be more than satisfied but I know that I will get oh so much more. It seems that Bethesda is willing to offer more up with every trailer making the anticipation for the later countdown videos grow exponentially with each offering. MS get the consoles ready because Oblivion's fan base is about to explode!

Today saw Lik-Sang release the new Xbox 360 controller faceplates. The faceplates will be available in Black, Pink, Silver, Grey, Red, Blue or Clear. Just be aware that it's not a simple pull of slap on job like the console faceplate, you will have to unscrew the old controller faceplate and replace it with the new one.
The faceplate range in price from $14.95/£7.95 up to $16.95/£9.95

A new trailer dubbed 'Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter: Cross-Com 1' has hit the Xbox Live marketplace. The trailer describes different ways in which you can use your cross-com, in a way its a tutorial.
The trailer as always is a freebie, but at 121mb (720p) it's one big file so be prepared to wait. Standard def. is only 18mb if you just can't wait for the high def. version.

Halo 3 no more -- meet Forerunner?

An Xbox.com forum poster, DM Duo Maxwell, is claiming to have reproduced, in its entirety, an exclusive Game Informer article from the upcoming April issue that reveals details about Bungie's next project—Duo Maxwell did not supply an actual scan because Xbox.com does not permit images that violate copyright laws. According to the post, Bungie's next project will be a Halo game for the Xbox 360, currently codenamed, Forerunner. In Halo lore, the Forerunners are a technologically advanced race that mysteriously vanished from the universe. If this is for real of simply an early April Fool's gag we should know soon enough.
