Now whether Sony’s E3 kickoff was a success or a failure will be contemplated from now until the release of the PlayStation 3 – which is November 17th in North America. At last nights Sony conference/presentation, Sony laid out the dual sku pricing for the new PS3. $499 for a 20GB HDD version, and $599 for a 60GB HDD. Well... being the cheap bastards that we are at 360-Deals, we thought we'd throw our our opinion on the PS3 launch price proposed.

Sony announced today that it would launch the PS3 in “Clear Black” in mainland Europe, US and Australasia on November 17, 2006, as part of a worldwide simultaneous launch. The PS3 will be equipped with Blu-ray and Pre-Installed HDD and be available at €499 (20GB HDD) and €599 (60GB HDD) in Europe, and $499 and $599 in the US.

Chromehounds demo to hit the Marketplace

Just as E3 is about to hit off, we get word from Sega that they're actually thinking of people outside L.A. Why should only E3 visitors enjoy some hard hitting bullets coming from some gigantic robots, battling it out pretty much everywhere, huh? Having said that, Sega announced that a demo for Chromehounds will be hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace some time during the E3 Expo. Since the event lasts 4 days and is pretty much in verge of its opening, that demo doesn't really feel that far from our very own Xbox 360 HDDs. So, keep an eye on the Xbox Live Marketplace and get ready for battle!
