Starbreeze Says 360 & PS3 Screenshots Will Look Identical
Submitted By: News Bot
03 May 2006 09:24 | Xbox 360
IGN also got the chance to speak with Jens Andersson, lead designer, Enclave, Riddick, Mikael Säker, story and game designer, Riddick, Magnus Högdahl, technical director, Enclave, Riddick, and Gustaf Grefberg, sound designer and composer, Enclave, Riddick to get a keener sense of the game's development, its sound design, and the online components, among other things. The interview itself is full of great game info, but the most important quote is: -- " Magnus Högdahl: The PS3 will have a content size advantage with blu-ray and a CPU advantage for titles that are able to utilize a lot of the SPUs. The Xbox360 has a slight GPU advantage and its general purpose triple-core CPU is relatively easy to utilize compared to SPUs. I expect that it will be near impossible to tell Xbox360 and PS3 screenshots apart." --

X-Men 3: The Official game Screenshots
Submitted By: 360Monster
03 May 2006 05:43 | Xbox 360
With the film gaining ground at our local multiplexes more screenshots have mutated on the web.
We have 13 new screenshots for X-Men 3: The Official Game that show a little more detail to the previous screens we had. This time looking a little more polished and leaning more towards what we are expecting to see on our next-gen boxes, but that said it still manages to look a little dated and nothing too far off what the original X-Box could handle.
The new screenshots can be found HERE.
Is this title already on the road to being another poor movie to game conversion?

FIFA World Cup 2006 Review
Submitted By: Swifty
03 May 2006 05:38 | Xbox 360
Six months. That is the time it has taken EA to turn an atrocious football title into a masterpiece. Well it’s not quite perfection, but its close. FIFA 06 Road To The FIFA World Cup was riddled with problems from the word ‘Xbox 360’. It went on to become one of Club Skills lowest scoring titles with a 1.8/10. The game was truly horrible; it was impossible to score, the handling was diabolical, the ball dynamics frustrating, player’s representation was minimal. It was all a shambles. And now, with the World Cup just weeks away, 2006 FIFA World Cup may be the only way England can win, and going by that injury to Rooney and Owen, its looking doubtful again.

New Call of Duty 2 Maps to Debut at E3 2006
Submitted By: DragonFly
02 May 2006 16:57 | Xbox 360
Further expanding the experience of the #1 title for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Activision, Inc., and Infinity Ward announced plans today to wage a campaign of new content for the next-gen leading Call of Duty 2 with the release of nine multiplayer maps on Xbox Live online gaming service. The first four maps will be available for download this spring, with playable versions debuting at E3 2006 in Activision’s Call of Duty 2 Lounge (South Hall, Booth #1200). The remaining five maps will be released in a second barrage in July. -- “Fans have made Call of Duty 2 the best-selling next-gen title and these maps are a great way to expand upon the hallmark epic scope and cinematic intensity that they’ve come to expect from the franchise,” said Grant Collier, president of Infinity Ward. “What better way to get the action to gamers than to release the first of the maps directly to them at E3!” --
