When we think of VGA, we think computer monitors, though this type of connection can also be used for HD displays too. This is because the cable sends an RGB (Red, Green and Blue) signal through the (15 Pin) standard VGA connector. For users without a HD setup this cables main use would be to connect your Xbox360 to a compatible PC monitor.

Since launch, Microsoft had cornered the market with this type of cable, which meant (like the hard drive) most of the official cables had been snapped up by consumers, which resulted in the cable becoming as rare as the console itself

April 17, 2006 - Bethesda has announced new content available for download for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Named Orrery, the download consists of a new area, new quests, new items, and involves rebuilding the Mages Guild Inner Sanctum. All this for 150pts: less than the cost of horse armor. The Orerry download is available now on Xbox Live Marketplace, and will be available soon for PC. For more info, check out the Oblivion download site.

Microsoft set to cash-in on PS3 delay

While the PS3 still fumbles at the starting gates, citing problems with blu-ray manufacturing, Microsoft are looking to double their orders of Xbox 360 chips from suppliers in Taiwan, according to industry sources.
Could this mean that the 360 will win the next-gen console war before the PS3 has even shipped? Steve Ballmer seems to think so.
"In every other generation, the first guy to 10 million consoles was the number one seller in the generation. Did we just get an even better opportunity to be the first guy to 10 million? Yeah, of course we did." said Ballmer in a recent interview over at Fortune.

The rumors were true: F.E.A.R. is coming to the Xbox 360. A scan from the contents page of a future edition of OXM reveals that the next issue will feature the first shots of "the most destructive shooter ever made" running on the Xbox 360. Now lets hope Monolith sweetens the deal by adding some extra content and improving the multiplayer mode, 'cause a clone of the PC game's multiplayer section just ain't gonna cut it on Xbox Live.
